- One of the most frequent questions I get asked is about my choice of the name "Moonwillow". It comes from when I was a child. I was a "latchkey" kid before anyone knew what that was. In the front yard we had a big beautiful weeping willow, and I use to sit under it to feel safe. There I would draw, color, play with my barbies (usually making clothes and accessories for them). Later as I got a bit older I would wait there at night, until I could see my mama walking down the street to home from the bus stop that brought her home from work. I would sit and stare at the moon looking for the man in the moon and wonder if he was making cheese! I had a great brother and sister but they were older and not at home with me. Many a time I took refuge under that tree, so there you have it. The name MoonWillow.

Hi Jackie, Thanks for the comment! No I never got to take a Suzi class, now there is a talented person. This is similar to her style but not quite that good, I have been drawing these girls since grade school lol.
